Did you create "GEMuary" Eric, or is that one of the innumerable things that passed me by?
I may have created it, but I also would not be surprised if it existed somewhere else. I am not putting it out there as a thing to do next month, just a simple thought. I will most likely do something like Bryan
Old Sarge did with his Feather Weight Festival.

Fluffy I have a straight razor that I am excited to try. I sold a baseplate and used the proceeds to purchase a travel/beginners strop from the Razor Emporium. Every time I see the razor, a Gold Dollar 1996, I pick it up and look at it again! There is something so cool, and a little scary, when I think about using it. Ken has given me some good advice and ideas, so I am feeling much more confident about it compared to before his surprise package arrived.
All that to say that I don't plan on GEMs exclusively. But I do need to use the straight consistently in order to learn. I plan to start with 1 pass on the cheeks only, and finish with a different razor.
And I will chronicle it here so all can chime in with tips, suggestions, support, and teasing!
