Thanks! I am liking the Yates head paired with the RR stainless steel Halo handle. I guess I am too temperamental, and have to be in just the right mood to use either of the Yates handles. One seems too skinny and long, the other to fat and heavy! Boo hoo, 1st world problems, right?!

A day off late morning shave

The Aurora Borealis sporting a new 2BED knot. I look back to late Spring or early Summer, and I see I made disparaging remarks about my first 2BED. Then Paul mrdoug got one and really loved it. So I analyzed what I wasn't liking (too pokey, scrubby at times) and set the knot higher. Vee oh lay! I know really, really enjoy this knot and have set at least 3 in various handles and have 2 that don't have a home yet!

The Contour GEM gave me a relaxing easy shave. And a well hydrated and creamy Noble Otter made the shave spectacular!  Ready to face a day of appointments (1 for me, infusion for my wife) and home chores.

For a Monday, I am okay for now!!  Tongue

Hey, we all have our favorites. Why not use what you like? If Yates or RR were adamantly against it, they'd have made their products more proprietary.

Like Tim said, it looks great. If it works great too... Sounds like a win in my book.

PS: The 2BED is great for me, too. Think I have 5 of them now? I've been slowly converting the Synbad to them. The Synbad is great, don't get me wrong... I'm just enjoying the 2BED more.

Big fan of the 2BED here (pun intended)

But the Tuxedo remains my favorite synthetic knot (in regards to face feel)... the 2BED does look cooler!

Medical Update:  Great News!!
The surgeon's fellow just called us, and all tests and images look encouraging (his word).  The team had just finished up their meeting tonight, and wanted to let us know that the results look to support non-cancerous!! They propose following up with another ERCP (fancy scoping) which we have scheduled for end of November and another MRI. If those two imaging procedures, as well as biopsies taken at the ERCP, continue to support no cancer or tumor, then they will be sure that there is no cancer. At that time, decisions can be made regarding whether or not the gall bladder gets to stay or will be removed. [which is what the initial ERCP in early August was all about, determining if the gall bladder stones were causing the pain and discomfort as well as periodically causing liver enzymes to spike.]

We are so relieved, feeling like we are more and more out of the woods but also understanding we need to do a couple more test. So not exactly a "let's wait and see" but a let's wait and make sure no changes are taking place" approach!
