Get a Zassenhaus.

Wow, now that's a nice looking grinder. Lots of character (no plastic either, I bet?).

^^^^ now that looks like a great grinder. I have a ceramic burr grinder, but I forgot the name. My wife who hates coffee got it for me many years ago! She told me that if I was going to drink the stuff, I should at least get fresh beans and grind as needed! Now that is love! So I make sure to brush my teeth often, like weekly! Jk

It's a good middle of the road grinder. I paid $89 but see it's $59 now on Amazon Huh

This is for my workaday grind, the one gifted to me by my wife in 2006 or '07. Cleaned it a couple of times, still doing well! I have a hand towel that I wrap around the base in the morning to muffle the sound. She insists she can't hear it, but I don't believe her, so I muffle it anyway! Sounds like a jet, how can you not hear it?! The hand grinder is for days off, when I can be more zen during the process!
