I love the SynBad. I have the 2BED and I agree that it has a little scratch to it. Awesome write up!

Thank you! I want to love the 2BED, but I love the softness of the 26mm and 30mm SynBad (as well as the new to me cashmere). I either have a baby face, or, what I prefer to believe, I want to pamper my face!

I know I wrote this before, but what is bewildering to me is that 2 different SynBad 28mm knots, one done by Andrew in a Summer handle, and one set by me, were not as soft as my first 2 SynBads. If only all my problems were so petty!!

Ha! I once worked with a pharmacy tech who called himself a "delicate tropical flower" as he hated Maine winters!

Yesterday's project completed! I replaced the 28mm SynBad with a Black and White from Maggard Razors. Test drive tomorrow!

today i used the 26mm synbad that i got back in '18 or '19. wow, more fantastic than i remember! made the 2bed feel bit scritchy! my question for myself is how much scritch is too much? does it need to be "butterflies painting lather on my face?" (thanks, ken, i love that description!) or can i tolerate some scritch?  all burning questions i need to know, ha ha.

have a good day, folks!

Argh! I don't want to hear this, lol. I have a 2BED in the mail as we speak. Lol.

No, not at all springy! I like the super Softness of the SynBad, and the 2BED is just a little less soft to me. But I still like it! I bet you will love it. I am very picky about brushes, so take my comments with lots of salt!

And here is a prime example of me being picky: the black and white seems too dense compared to the 2BED and my SynBads! I haven't even lathered it!

See? Too high of expectations. I want what Fluffy wrote earlier, butterfly wings painting lather on my face!

The worst was when I tried a store brand boar and used gel. This was about 10 years before I heard about wet shaving. That brush was an exfoliator! And as Dave in KY says, shed like a pig with alopecia!
