Yes, Paul Stubble Daddy made a wonderfully colorful handle!  I am going to leave it be, and use it later this week. Thanks to you all, I now have 4 new wonderful brushes, doubling the brush horde and overwhelming the shave drawer! The one I am thinking about redoing is the SynBad. If I can think of more stuff I need want from Maggards, then I will get a knot that Paul recommended me, the Black and White.

Maggards sells on ebay pretty cheap for individual knots sometimes
Yes! I've bought from them this way. Same knot, same excellent customer service. It's usually 2-3$ more (with free shipping), but that's cheaper than $6 shipping. That may be a great place to explore.

Also, if your drawer is full, consider a shelf. All those pretty brushes deserve to be displayed, anyway. This is a floating shelf I mounted above the vanity, upside down. Was cheap, easy, and works well enough for my needs. Just a thought.

EDIT: Same Price?!? Wow, you have to jump on it then! I believe I paid $2 more for a 24mm badger. Still a deal with free shipping.

my mistake, it is $2 more on eBay. I was going off my memory rather than actual facts!

Good morning! A morning to be good on. A morning that is good. Or is it good that it is morning? Or did Bilbo mean Good bye?!

Anyway, great Vector shave, although I did switch blades mid-shave, from a Kai Capt. Titan Mild to the Kai Protouch MG. I wanted to see if the Protouch was "better" or if it was just re-learning the Vector after easier injector shaving. I think it was the blade, but doesn't matter, I will stick with this one and try the other again (it comes in 20 packs, so not as expensive as the Protouch).

In coffee news, I now have a canister with the starts of Clown Coffee! The sample bags end up with a few beans that aren't enough to make a single pour over cup, so I am collecting them in one place. I thought of Dave's Clown Puke Soap, but words to describe the beans left an unpleasant mental image of what I would be about to drink!

Hope you all have as good a day as Monday allows!

Yesterday's brush was the new 28mm SynBad knot in the Trotter Handcrafts Maple handle. Love the handle, love the look with the SynBad, but only liking the SynBad. It is very dense and doesn't splay well for me, so feels pokey. Wah wah, I know! But my other 2 SynBads are Clouds of Softness on my delicate face  Tongue

So I may re-knot it.  Today was the 2BED in the DSotM handle. Great splay, very good feel, only pokey at times, but that is when I am mashing it into my cheek! It is so big for a 26mm knot, I have load and load. It will probably be the brush used when I need to really plow through some soap tubs. I really like it.

Tomorrow will be the Timberwolf in the Groovy handle. Looking forward to its first lathering.

Happy Tuesday, let's get it going!

You would LOVE a Techichi "The Hive" brush by Don that I used today. Soft like a cloud and a soap destroyer as well. Cheap and a sleeper in the synthetic brushes out there as far as I'm concerned. WOW, they're on sale now too !!
