Wow. It doesn't get any better than this. Kudos to you, brother Dave!

Eric: Let me add my well wishes to Dave's. Best of luck to both of you in your travels and all your tests - not to mention doing the vaccination tango at work.

New soap in the house, House of Mammoth Z (their unscented version). Worked up a nice lather, and the scuttle made it all the more enjoyable!
Yates 921-M
Viking's Sword (2)
SynBad 26mm

Yesterday went as well as could be expected. The specialist held out hope for an overturning of the insurance denial, and assured us he would help in the appeal process. He also made it clear that losses experienced since stopping the medication would be regained. He strongly encouraged us to remain positive, that we will prevail. So sort of a pep talk, but it helped coming from one of the principal players in the field of short fiber polyneuropathy!

I think that is about it. Off to work now.
Have a good day, DFS!

When the answer is unknown, hope is all we have.

Glad you got that pep talk, especially from an expert in the field. We're all praying for you buddy. You climbed the mountain once, you can do it again.

Have a wonderful day.

They've arrived! (said like Gene Wilder in Young Frankenstein!)

Big thanks to Dave in KY for a loaner package, and YatesPrecision for some more plates! [Image: owp6Gwt.jpg]

From Dave, some vintage Gems and, as he put it, "a Blackland Sabre jumped in!"

And from YPM, an H plate, a hybrid plate, and the short handle!

My mug is in for some great shaves. Just wish I could be more "squatchy", so I could shave twice a day!

(squatchy means like Bigfoot!)

**********************WARNING: SAP ALERT ********************

I need to just write this now. Wet-shavers on this forum are amongst the best people I "know" right now.  Thank you.

I see this group reaching out and helping, sharing favorite soaps and razors, and sharing great life stories, all with humor, support, and encouragement.  Thank you, all of you!
