And speaking of new soap, Hub City has a fantastic unscented soap!

We all seem to go through phases. Any of the usual acquisition disorders can get out of control if you let them. But in moderation they can be fun.
Of all the people I know in the hobby. Dave in KY has the strongest amount of willpower. And would be the guy to turn to for advice on moderation.  Cool

Crazy windy today, like a freight train! But a wonderful Vector shave today for work.
I am still learning how to do this, and I think I am getting better. Only a couple of spots that had a small leak. But cold water fixed it up!

Ditto... 55mph wind gusts last night with some of my neighborhood without power. Supposed to continue through today, but a little less (38 mph).

Mama nature (As Fluffy would refer to her) is demanding some respect.

Those wind gusts would hit the house hard! Kept waking up, and figured I'd see trees down all over the place. Lots of folks without power, but our neighborhood was spared. Very glad we have that generator, as I know my wife will have power while I am at work, no matter what happens.

Hope everyone has a good day!

I hear you on the tyranny of the shaving things - everything vying for use.  Everyday when I select the setup it means that everything else isn't getting used.  Opportunity cost.  Thats why a disappointing shave or shave product is so annoying.  OK, mildly annoying...one less shave in life and it could have been better.  Very often when I return to a razor or a soap that I haven't used in a long time I quickly realize - "oh right, thats why I haven't used this in so long - while it doesn't suck, its just not as good as what I have been using.  So I try to get over it and get rid of it.  When I started out wet shaving almost 10 years ago and I used one soap until it was gone, one brush one razor too - a new soap that came along was judged on its own merits.  Is this a good soap?  Do I like it?  Now it gets judged not only on those two criteria but a third...is it as good as....X?  Theres a reason you reach for certain products frequently.  Theres a reason that donut hole forms in the bottom of some tubs.  Life is too short for bad shaves.  even a shave that, while good, cold have been better.

Shouldn't that be:  "Only disposable razors and canned goo they have."
