Very true. For me Dickens smells very heavily of glace cherries and Vetyver Santal smelled like a woodworking shop to me, but both changed dramatically when lathered up. And Leviathan... hoo boy!
Lavanille and Le Grand Chypre, however, are both scents where I open the tub just to get a whiff of them.
I love the smell of woodworking shops - as long as its not during the glue up phase
I too love all of the B&M but I do love some of them more than others. Lavanille is great, Vetyver Santal is too. Leviathan absolutely rocks, Hallows, Petrichor, Nocturn.
I used Cattie's Bubbles Midnight Dreary this morning and I really like that one too. Tabula Rasa has some complex scents that I find appealing. I have some others on the tip of my mind but can't bring them out right now. I'll update when it comes to me....
