Shave soaps/creams with complex scents

Very true. For me Dickens smells very heavily of glace cherries and Vetyver Santal smelled like a woodworking shop to me, but both changed dramatically when lathered up. And Leviathan... hoo boy!

Lavanille and Le Grand Chypre, however, are both scents where I open the tub just to get a whiff of them.

Lavanille is one of my all-time favorite scents. You will have no trouble selling or trading it if you don't like it.

I have a number of soaps that I really enjoy but for complexity I would definitely have to put Barrister_N_Mann at the top of the podium. Very creative and just cool to use as you are always picking up something different.

I also think that Anthony at DeLuxeShaving does a remarkably good job of creating nuanced scents that are very interesting too.

I love the smell of woodworking shops - as long as its not during the glue up phase I too love all of the B&M but I do love some of them more than others. Lavanille is great, Vetyver Santal is too. Leviathan absolutely rocks, Hallows, Petrichor, Nocturn.

I used Cattie's Bubbles Midnight Dreary this morning and I really like that one too. Tabula Rasa has some complex scents that I find appealing. I have some others on the tip of my mind but can't bring them out right now. I'll update when it comes to me....

Oh yes, forgot about Tabula Rasa. I have Steampunk and it is very complex and the strangest scent I've, experienced but I like it. Catie's is great too. I always have one in my rotation and have tried 3 different scents, all great.

Not sure how complex it is, but I Coloniali has a lot of depth to me. I know others find it too sweet, or too much like church incense, but it's one of my favorites.

Tabula Rasa Steam Punk is amazing and 'complex' would certainly describe the scent.

One of my favorites too, both scent and performance.

The Saponificio Varesino shaving soaps have quite complex scents. Definitely worth a try.

+1 on DeLuxe Shaving soaps.Lucky 13 is a complex scent to me.It seems to be a love it or hate it scent though.I happen to love it,my wife not so much lol.Great performance as well!!!!All of Anthony's soaps have been outstanding for me.Going to pick up one of his new scents but can't decide on which scent just yet.
