The only Significant Other in my life is my daughter. All others are just "Other", not significant. With my kid, I have a fair amount of leeway as to what I use and wear. She doesn't care any more than an 11 year old should care, which is good for me.
She is not a big fan of Pinaud Clubman...she says I smell "old".
She also doesn't like any of my various tobacco scents. I think they remind her of when I was a smoker. I quit almost 3 years ago at her request, so anything with "tobacco" in the name or title is a no-no to her. She does acknowledge that it's my choice. I mean, I put them down July 10, 2013, and haven't touched a cigarette since, so she appreciates that I am done with them, she just doesn't like the scent...it reminds her of having packs of smokes laying around...and I can't blame her for that...
Other than that, I usually get, "I don't really care, Dad. Wear what you want"...
As an aside...her request that I quit was her Birthday Wish. I asked her what she wanted for her 9th birthday, and she said, "I just want you to quit smoking so you'll be around a little longer". That was 6 days before her birthday, and I haven't touched a smoke since...
