A few of my brushes needed some knotting, one needed to have a knot taken out and replaced with another (one of my knots from my inventory collection), one did not have a knot one again I used one of my stored knots for Rudy to put into a handle from my collection. (I have a tendency to buy knots and handles independently of each other and just store them away) The third brush is a 20 something year old Morris & Forndran the knot had come out and I wanted to reglue it back in with the same original loft.
So, I asked Rudy (Rudy Vey) if he would do the work for me, to which he said yes. Rudy is the only one I would trust with doing any work on my brushes. I know he understands the different handle materials and knots. In my years with Rudy, I have learned how very meticulous he is where mishaps are almost nonexistent (although mishaps do happen beyond anyone’s control) with Rudy it’s rare that a misshape will occur because of his knowledge and vast experience). Rudy will always ask questions about the item and work with me in giving me the best results. May Rudy live forever.
This brush Rudy replaced the knot (Elite, Bob Quinn handle)
This handle did not have a knot (Elite, Bob Quinn handle)
