There lots of non stainless steel TTO modern razors - Parker, weishi, merkur. I, too, thought the model T was going to be a “first” because of stainless steel + adjustability + TTO combination.

if it looses the 100% stainless factor- I completely applaud their efforts and ingenuity but I don’t think it is a “first” anymore.

not first anymore, if you look at the Parthenon razor its build 90% out of brass and 10% zinc

It's sharp and it cuts. I like it...

Looks like early backers in Canada have started receiving their Model T's.
Here's a quick link to that post on Reddit. Aggressive/efficient but smoth according to this early reviewer....

I bet, I'm going to be the very last getting mine in Cyprus.

I doubt Cyprus will be the last to receive theirs; I got the dark finish AND I live near the mountains of Tennessee! Smile good luck, though Smile

I've also read the review, but the way the owner shaved does not do me much good in the way of information because the highest he went up to was 4, but by that time he had nothing left to shave. In my case, I will start from 4 and go up to find the right efficiency for me and I hope it's still smooth higher up on the scale. Right now the 6S@6 is inefficient for me and the REX just about right at 6.5, and all these on a feather.

Well, they shipped the first 100 and Rockwell stated that shipping would be done in chronological order with those who backed the KS Campaign being priority. Then those who purchased via IGG will be secondary and perhaps are the ones that will get their razors my mid to late May. I capitulated and bought my Model T through IGG. So I'll be receiving mine on the late end.

Either way, it's great news that they are finally shipping out and reports/reviews should start to come in on all forums. Good times to be a wet shaver....

Bought through the kickstarter, and again not a peep
