They said that units were starting to ship,

But have there been any reviews posted yet?

This is crazy. I went and looked at a thread from about when this all began and it looks like, first part of the year in 2016. That is just a stupid amount of time for this, especially since its not even completely stainless anymore.

I emailed Rockwell to see about an ETA on my razor, they said that they shipped out a small batch to see how customer feedback was so they didn't have a repeat of previous kick-starter's, they also assure me that they were still on track to deliver the kick-starter razors by June. I think what the website is talking about is the retail version will ship in August, the pre-orders are scheduled before that

Glowing 5 Star review dated April 10 on the Rockwell web site. Multiple shaves before he lost the razor. Great combo with the Rockwell blades.

Hahaha yeah. I really love the Rockwell razor but the blades suck big time.

Something is definitely weird about this. From all those backers I expected at least a dozen reviews. At least I expected they'll send it to some youtubers to post reviews of it.

I could see Rockwell wanting no public reviews for early production/prototype razors. Android P and new IOS are out for beta testing - I have not seen any comprehensive reviews of either software nor would I put much value in the negative comments of early beta testers.

PS; I got one excellent shave with a Rockwell blade one time.
