Review system was extremely intuitive and easy to use. If I can think of some areas of improvement, I will surely chime in.

And thanks a lot again for doing this.

That, to my mind, is how the reviews consolidate. If two or more people review a product then the total product "stars" updates and it is easy to see what aspects the  reviewers agreed on (or disagreed on).

I think that this is one of the best systems out there, and the more it gets used, the better it will get.

I agree - it's probably one of the best pure review system in use today.

I agree, Sourav. This is truly one of the most intuitive review systems I have used and easily the best.

One thing I did notice is that only one monetary denomination may be listed for each review and the price (at least for reviewing a shaving soap) can only be listed in $, £, or €. This does not take into account our wonderful Canadian products, for example. In my review of Desmond's Barrow Shaving Soap, I got an error message when I tried to put in C$23.50. Also, if a product comes in more than one size and thus different prices, only one price may be listed. I somewhat got around this by trying to be a bit more specific in the "Value" post.

It would be great if the second person could also write and rate a review , and the third ,and fourth and open a different thread to discuss the reviews. That would help to keep the reviews area "clean" and more focus to provida that information , rather than one guy writing one and the rest commenting "awesome" , "great" or "I have 3 and are wonderful".

We'll see about adding Canadian currency into the price field. I would just use whatever price you paid and/or the product is selling for for the specific version you're reviewing.

you can add more than 1 review to a review. reviews without comments are kinda blah..

you can't rate someone else's review, no, but you can add your own review for the same product within the same review...it'll then average the overall rating.

for example: if you wanted to add your own thoughts and ratings for haslinger schafmilch, you'd just hit 'add review' at the top of this review: https://damnfineshave.com/reviews-produc...asierseife

Every review requires one image. Ideally one you have taken yourself. Then you just fill in the fields and ratings with your review of the product.

It might be easiest to think of the first review as creating the product entry, then all later reviews are additional reviews of the product.

Are you browsing the site using Tapatalk? I am not even sure that Tapatalk users can see the reviews .
