Recommend me a good 'stache wax

PAA has a good mustache wax also for like $7

Thanks man, that was one that I was definitely considering since I was planning on placing an order with PAA sometime soon anyway. I've enjoyed all of their other products I've tried and I like that they use all natural ingredients.

Clubman mustache wax is for the mustache wearer who has never tried anything else. It's easy to use, but also easy to use too much and easy to screw up. I usually don't recommend that one at all.

The mustache wax you use really depends on the mustache you'd like to wear. I tend to like medium hold, slightly malleable waxes for my mustache. My current favorite is BeardBrand mustache wax. It comes in a convenient Chapstick style tube which is very easy to apply: just lift the cap and rub it directly on your mustache. It's easy to re-style and adjust throughout the day without getting too stiff. It also contains lanolin which can help to soften your mustache hair over time and make it more managable. I would not recommend this wax if you plan on doing a tight curl or straight/stiff points. It's great for a more natural look with control while maintaining a solid appearance without stray hairs.

For a stiffer wax, I would recommend True Wax and CaD314 's Dandy Candy Mustache Trainer. You can get a bit more creative with those stronger waxes.

Hey thanks for the detailed reply! I was waiting to see if you would chime in. That Beard Brand one sounds like exactly what I'm looking for! Just something with a medium-ish hold for a natural look while keeping the stray hairs at bay. What does it smell like?

Full disclosure, I used Clubman neutral when I sport a mustache and never had an issue.
Just saw this deal; the high degree of customer satisfaction and thought it might be something the OP might want to consider.

I think I've been using too much of the Clubman to where it feels sticky and gets flaky. That and I don't like the scent of it either. I appreciate your input regardless.

There are a lot of great waxes out there now a days! I personally go for the all natural ones rather than the ones that contain petrochemicals, but tha's personal preference. I would say read reviews, Ingredient labels and decide if you want a light, Medium Or Super Stiff hold....then go for it!

Thanks CaD314! I have watched a couple of your videos on the subject and have gotten some great tips on how to use mustache wax. I have read a ton of reviews, as I do with everything, and I do prefer products with natural ingredients whenever possible. I just wanted to see what some other mustachioed brothers were using and maybe get some recommendations!

wyze0ne Regarding the BeardBrand mustache wax, they have several scents. I like the Tea Tree one which has a bit of peppermint. Tree Ranger is solid as well.

I can't grow a 'stache to save my life, but my dad has been wearing one since he was 17. I got him the Walrus Mustache Co. wax, and he has raved about both the performance and scent.

I have a pretty good 'stache running...I use wax from The Bearded Bastard and Black Rebel Beard Company. Both have good hold that lasts a long time. The Bearded Bastard has amazing scents, the Black Rebel is unscented.

Lately, my stache has needed that "extra hold", so I have been using Elmer's Glue Stick. Non-toxic, water soluble, unscented, and holds STRONG while still looking very natural. It works for me...

I wish I could take credit for it, but the idea was given to me by a gentlemen with an amazing handlebar mustache that is always impeccably controlled, yet always looks completely natural. I asked how he did it, he gave me the tip. It works like a charm!

BadDad, thanks I might have to try that. Cheaper than 'stache wax too!
