RazoRock Mamba .70 base plate in the works..

It should. The difference between the RR Game Changer .68 base plate and the newer .84 is .16 mm and the .84 Game Changer is much more efficient.

It should. The difference between the RR Game Changer .68 base plate and the newer .84 is .16 mm and the .84 Game Changer is much more efficient.

Any difference between Mamba .70 and Game Changer .68 other than head shape. Not sure about positive or negative blade exposure.

In my opinion the mamba .53 is good for ATG passes because of the small gap.

I have both the game changer base plates. I agree the 84 is way better. However I felt the original game changer wasn't as mild as the mamba. For me at least, I would need a considerable change to make the purchase. With its head geometry i would love to see a blade gap like a timeless at .95. For reference my favorite razor is the charcoal level 3.

The game changer .84 blows any merkur out of the water for me. The head geometry of the game changer is perfect.

I bought one because why not. It’s only $64. The original mamba was well made like all razorock razors. I’m not a huge fan boy but I can recognize value when I see it.

I'd like to see the Mamba with an OC base plate with just a wee bit more exposure maybe. Think RR SLOC, 0.010" gap but efficient with effective feedback.

There is one. You might like to try the PAA SS Ascension when it's available. Seriously good razor, no B.S. There is an aluminum one available now but, the drawback is the light weight. I have the Aluminum Ascension V1 and it shaves very well. I just added a heavier handle. Sweet razor.....
