Marko, how does the .72 compare with the Rockwell 6S plate 4 or 5? i was hesitant as well on the Lupo but keep seeing some really great things being said about it.

Okay, again I'm going from a small sample because of the beard but, I'd put the .72 close to the Rockwell 6s on #5 plate.  The WR1 in my opinion is close to the #6 plate.  With a Feather.

Picked up the 72 with HD handle, German 37 Slant with Barber Pole handle and an acrylic stand. Shaved off my beard this morning.  Last shave was Sep.1st, 2020.

Nice smooth face    I'm keeping the beard until the end of the month and then off it goes.  That barber pole handle is pretty nice.

I shaved with the .72 Lupo this morning using Wholly Kaw Rebelle and a Bic Astor blade.  Now to be fair, I'm wearing a beard right now so I only shaved my neck area but I like this razor.  At .72 gap its a little milder than my WR1 but then the WR1 is pretty aggressive for me.  Dont ask me what the blade gap is in my WR1 - when I bought it in 2015 from James I didn't specify and he didn't ask. I was one of the last on the original wait list and I was stunned to get the email asking me what I wanted...uh...a razor?    

In any case I was approaching the whole Lupo thing with trepidation.  I've been disappointed before.  I stayed away from the earlier drops vowing not to be burned again.  But then I started seeing the comments form people I know and who's opinions carry weight with me.  Still, maybe it was all SSDD.  Well, I crumbled and bought Both the .72 and .95 and after trying the .72 today I will say that for me, the Lupo is the real deal.   The .95 will be up next.

I feel like a newbie again!  I'm having so much fun rediscovering my old razors, not to mention my recent RazoRock purchases.

You guys are funny. One of these shiny things gets used today which helps since it's close to 100 years old it'll fit my Old Gillette focus for the week. A day or 2 and I can handle it. More than that and I would not be able to......................................Look squirrel !!!
