The aluminum Timeless handle shifts balance in the other direction and vastly improves maneuverability. That said I'm not convinced that the AC blade provides any real benefit for me, my injector sized Proline equipped Enders is both more efficient and more maneuverable.Well now I want to try a very efficient injector razor.

ProTouch is fantastic!!

Stainless Steel I find to be unefficient.
With a good lenght / size, handle is too heavy.
Aluminium is way better.
IMHO, light shavers with AC blade are the best choice.
I'm truely in love with Colonial Razor The General V1 Aluminium alloy 6061.
BTW, the TNNSER3D V3 is outstanding too.
Specially considering the old technology GEM style blade.
This is the first razor I love to shave with that use those blades.
And is gorgeous in SOTDs!!!
That is for me efficiency: long lasting BBS with full comfort.
More aggressive razors can not give me the same performance.

Just finished my shave with the A plate. Used a fresh Feather Super and got a nice 2.5 pass BBS. Smooth is the word for this razor. I think there was more blade feel from the OC plate version. Now that I have shaved with the OC and the “A” SB, I have no need to even try or keep the regular SB. I switched out the Mongoose Big Beastie handle for the 100mm titanium Razorock Halo handle for this A shave. Think someone on here liked the lighter handle with this razor. I can honestly say that I can go either way as long as the handle is 95-100mm. I think the wider head of an SE needs a longer handle but that is just my opinion. I could see myself selling the “A” plate version after a few more shaves and keeping the OC version. Anyway, one of these is definitely a keeper for me. I have a Paradigm SE, General V2 and Blackland Vector along with several other SE SB razors but the only OC I have is the ATT SE2 which I have not used in a while.

May I ask please how you would compare the smoothness and efficiency of the Vector versus the V3-A and/or the V3-OC?

Very similar in efficiency. I’m waiting to give a judgment until my stubble starts to grow back. I shaved around 11 today. No stubble yet.

Has anyone used an Occam's Razor SE on plate 3 with a Feather Professional Super blade? This particular setup (for me) gives some of the smoothest and most efficient results (in some areas) than most DEs. (Sadly, I have to return to other more aggressive DEs to finish other areas.)
If anyone has used the Occam's Razor SE setup I've described, how does the RazoRock Hawk V3 OC compare? Have you used the Feather Professional Super blade? Or is that blade too much? I was thinking of the Hawk V3 A, but several have noted the V3 OC seems more efficient.

You do feel the blade but it's yet to hurt me.

First shave last night with the newly delivered Hawk V3 (regular baseplate). I didn't order the "OC" or "A" baseplates... Too early to tell if I need to go more aggressive but it's possible.
Prolines are definitely sharp for me the first few shaves but this razor tamed it... A guard blade with this baseplate would definitely be a no-go for my beard but YMMV of course. I had terrible shaves with the aluminum hawk 2... Never sharp or efficient enough for my harsh beard so V3 is a marked improvement. I'll keep shaving with it this week and see how it goes. I should know after 5-7 shaves if I need a more aggressive baseplate.
