I had my first face shave with this razor, this morning, and it is a bit mild for me.
It is milder than the Weber DLC that I have.
I had to loosen the handle of the razor so that I could get more blade gap to make the razor more effective.
If Joe offers a few more aggressive bottom-plates, then he will, probably, have the best inexpensive stainless steel DE razor on the market as the razor is beautifully machined and it is a very smooth shaver.

Can you compare it to a Rockwell base plate?

To me it shaves around a 3.5 in Rockwell terms, yet smoother!

It is a very comfortable razor, and I hope Joe makes the .74 baseplate a reality.

I have only used the Rockwell plate 6, twice, so I wouldn't be able to offer you an honest assessment, but I would surmise it is similar to a Rockwell plate 4-5. I found the Plate 6 to be a bit more aggressive than a mid-aggressive shaver, but the head was overly large and the complete razor was much too heavy, for me.
If you have tried the Mamba, then the Game Changer is more aggressive. I would still consider it a sub-mid aggressive shaver as I find it just a bit less aggressive than a Merkur 34C, but much smoother. It really is a very smooth shaver and I hope Joe can offer a few options with more aggressive base-plates.

The razor has a beautiful head design and finish. I surmised it would be a bit mild for me after vtmax posted some thoughts on the razor.

Aggressiveness+efficiency no longer equate with harshness as demonstrated by Paradigm 17-4, Blackland SB, Timeless and Charcoal, I have not used Karve or Tatara. Italian Barber has brought to the market some stunning razors sub $100. I too hope Joe will release a more aggressive and efficient base plate.

I say it is between plate 3 and 4 as I use all the plates on the Rockwell on which I always use 5 and 6 now.

I do have to say that the GC did a great job this morning with a Gillette Silver Blue I was impressed with the shave. I changed my technique from the first shave on the angle and it seemed to help. I had PM's asking if I want to sell it and I am going to keep it as I think the razor is amazing quality and I will get a better handle of it after a week of shaves. Also I still believe we need a .74 and higher base plates as the Game Changer will definitely will become a game changer in the razor market like Rockwell did with there 6S,6C, and 2C.

Used this razor for the first time today and I have to say it is a well built razor. I can highly recommend this razor at this price point. First of all fit and alignment are top notch. I got a DFS with 3 passes and touch ups. I think this razor for my usage would be a good travel razor it is efficient but smooth feeling I don’t think I could get weepers with this razor. I have many razors that I can get a closer shave with but this feels smooth and safe. If you are looking to get a better razor and shave than a standard entry plated razor this ones a winner. Eager to see if Joe will introduce more aggressive plates in the future. Looking forward to more great shaves with this razor

Is it my impression, or does this double-edged razor have a geometry similar to a wolfman?

It's sharp and it cuts. I like it...

Nothing new to add here except that the Gamechanger gave me an excellent 2.5 pass shave on 24 hours growth on it’s maiden shave. I threw in a fresh Kai SS blade, went all out with the RazoRock soap & a/s splash, the F-400 XXL and gave meself a no irritation, no nics or weepers 5 star BBS finish. As I’ve said before, and to each their own but the Kai & Gamechanger duo is an elite shaving combination for me. Stays smooth but gives just the right amount of blade feel and efficiency that I like. Perfect alignment, excellent fitment and tolerances with good weight and balance equals a great shave in my hands. And for $50. Probably won’t work for everyone, and that’s fine by me. Everyone has to find what works for them. The Gamechanger works for me.....
