That's correct!

I believe the Game Changer could become the go-to razor of the future, how the Merkur 34C and EJ89 were the go-to of the past. For $49.99, the price is accessible and people seem to love the shave. CNC billet razors are miles ahead of cast zamak.

The website performed flawlessly (from my perspective) during the actual sale, and so far I think Joe has done a stellar job in cranking out such a widely-anticipated release.

The notify app has a reference-back loop.

As an example, say we put 100 products in stock and 200 people are signed up. It will send 10 emails and waiting a certain amount of time for them to buy, then it will reference the stock and if say 80 are still in stock, it will send 8 more emails and waiting again. It's designed so people that get the email have some time to buy.

The other thing we could do is send out all the emails at the same time. For example, 1000 razors go in stock, 6000 people on the notification. The problem is then 5000 people get really pissed off because they got an email and by the time they went to look they are gone and now they have to sign up again and get in line again. The emails are sent in the order received so preference is giving to people that sign up the earliest. The email notification list also gives us a good gauge of demand so we can setup shop time and buy enough billets. Without the email list, I wouldn't be able to gauge demand and probably would start out with a much smaller production to manage my risk.

Email notifications don't work good when you have a product like the Game Changer where current demand far outweighs supply. We are also notifying people on Twitter and Instagram about the drop times, for more clarity. I know some people have emailed me and said they aren't on social media. Unfortunately, I don't have a better system at this time; social media is fast, free and efficient. I don't think it really matter how I notify, if demand is 10x more than supply, there are going to be people that want it, don't get it and are really upset.

My promise is that I will keep making them as long as they keep selling (every month), so if you want one, you'll get it eventually. Based on past experience, demand and supply will balance out in a few months and then we will be able to keep a nice amount of them in stock at all times.

Please bare with us, we are doing what we can on our end.

Which is why I say the email system is worthless anyway. People need to join the 21st century. Sorry to all of the old people (Older than my 48 years) that I just pissed off, but it is what it is.

Nobody should be getting upset. It's only a razor. Everybody that wants one will get one. If you really want one that badly, sign up for Instagram and Twitter so that you can be in the loop. That's what I did. I don't post on social media and only use it to find out when new products that I'm interested in are going to be released. You can also subscribe to this thread to get e-mail notification of new posts. If you are not doing everything you can to stay informed, then its your own fault and you should stop complaining if you miss out on product releases.

The only thing I won't do is sign up for Face Book, never have, never will...

I saw the Instagram and Twitter notifications and could have purchased one, but opted to wait until the next batch and possibly get a different handle.
