I've heard they have improved their work. I think they burned alot of bridges in the beginning so alot of people won't do business with them and do not recommend them.
It's your money but i think everyone else is more connected to the shaving community more as help rather to make tons of money. My opinion. I may send them something some day.

I second this recommendation and these gentleman will also coordinate if you have a razor that needs repairs prior to replating you can send it to Cap who will work his magic and then forward it on to Chris at Razorplate for replating. Outstanding work and convenient too.
If I may chime in
When we started off in 2010 it was just me and a friend working out of my garage. I still had a full time job.
I got serious with the biz in 2013 and it became full time. Built a commercial shop and hired / trained staff.
Reviews from years and years ago are not apples to apples any more. I’d challenge you to find anyone who isn’t happy with what we to today.
We process about 50-60 razors a week. Most all of our customers are thrilled with our work. We don’t delete any bad reviews of our services and there are over 500 you can read on our site.
We get many razors that come to our shop after other vendors perform work and customers aren’t satisfied. In fact we just redid a red dot fatboy for this very reason.
We’re happy to work on your razor and if you’re not satisfied we will make things right or give you a refund.
Here to answer any questions. Thx
Matt

I have no personal experience with Razor Emporium, but I would give Matt an opportunity to provide the service you're seeking.

I have sent four razors to Matt without any complaints to report. Excellent quality on the restorations, I recommend RE without hesitation. I have a Ranger Tech on deck that needs some attention. I was reading the differences between the Tune-up and Restoration levels trying to decide which would be more appropriate for my Ranger. Good folks at RE.
