its just like any trade or profession in the world, you get better over time but only depends how much you love your craft in order to excel in it. I know for fact I'm on a whole other level what I used to be 18 years a go considering my trade, I have surpassed people that have been doing it for 40+ years.

Time makes things better but only if you love what you do, I'm sure Matt is not the same razor guy that he used to be

When we started off in 2010 it was just me and a friend working out of my garage. I still had a full time job.

I got serious with the biz in 2013 and it became full time. Built a commercial shop and hired / trained staff.

Reviews from years and years ago are not apples to apples any more. I’d challenge you to find anyone who isn’t happy with what we to today.

We process about 50-60 razors a week. Most all of our customers are thrilled with our work. We don’t delete any bad reviews of our services and there are over 500 you can read on our site.

We get many razors that come to our shop after other vendors perform work and customers aren’t satisfied. In fact we just redid a red dot fatboy for this very reason.

We’re happy to work on your razor and if you’re not satisfied we will make things right or give you a refund.

Here to answer any questions. Thx

Matt

Having just put my hands on the Red Dot Fatboy that Matt corrected, I am pleased with the Revamp service she got. I think RE have put their issues behind them.

Thanks for saving the day, Matt!

Some years ago, I purchased a used razor from them and then read some bad reviews. The razor came in the mail promptly and was better than described. Now I am seriously thinking of purchasing a Rex.

Gents,

Replating / restoration question. Earlier in this thread, several folks recommended Captain Murphy and razorplate.com. There was then discussion about Razor Emporium.

One name didn't come up, which is Delta Echo. For those that have experience what is the difference between the repair/re-plate companies and Delta Echo?

Just had end caps replaced on a Gillette Diplomat and RE di a great job. As good as it gets. So my vote is one for them!
