Most aggressive configuration ive used is the Mongoose II w/ feather professional blades. with enough pressure you could cut your face right off.

Go a head and laugh, I'm not dead so I'm buying cool razors. This was a great find, I think and they will be fun to shave with.

My RAD would be cured when I find a razor that shaves like 34C in a better material. (although I can just buy 10 34C and be done with it, I mean even ZAMAK will last 2/3 years)

It almost got cured with the BlackBird, but I simply couldn't ignore how the baseplate felt on my face. If there comes a BlackBird V3 or something with a rounded baseplate, my RAD would die instantly.

I keep buying vintage razors with the expectation of liking one as those are cool and well made, but so far found none. I find vintage gillettes aren't a comfortable ATG(neck) shaver. Also I have got a thing for TTO razors, so I guess I will keep buying (and regretting) vintage razors.

6S - I like it, I simply wish it was less heavy, and a bit less bulky.

I have completed the full circle of aggression when it comes to DE razors and realized that my fine motor control skills aren't good enough for an ultra-mild razor like AS/D2, but still good enough that I can constantly get great shaves with mild to mid range razors. So I don't see the point of buying super aggressive razors anymore ( but i will keep the R41, Futur clone etc). For the adrenaline rush, I have the straights, shavettes, Feather AC etc.

I thought that I don't have the skill to use a GEM razor after trying a few so thought about not buying anymore. Then I found a 1912 Gem in a lot that I could use with great comfort and thought that was it. Then I bought a Sabre yesterday Sad

The only razor that I've owned that I consider more aggressive than this configuration is the Futur on the highest setting with a feather. I guess everyone's different.

My usual cast of characters
-Fatboy on 11 (I have custom blade gaps two levels higher than usual)
-Slim on 9
-Progress at 6.5
-Futur on 6
-ATT H1
-Fatip
-R41 2013
-Old Type
-MMOC

Now THAT is one aggressive list. Like them all except the MMOC. I just can't seem to get anything but a rough shave out of it (I've tried 12-15 times).

I didn't like any of my SEs until I got my hands on some Ted Pella PTFE blades. Only GEM style blade that I like.

Agreed. Ted Pella is the way to go.

Yes, it's too bad that Merkur hasn't come out with a stainless steel 34C. Or anyone else, for that matter.
