When I started off restoring razors in my garage I used Rust-Oleum Satin Claret Wine. It's very close but still spray paint.
Today we have a color matched powder coat that indistinguishable from the original and is far more durable than spray paint (even if baked)

Do I have to remove the old paint or can it be
Painted right over it ?
That's the biggest issue I'm trying to figure out.
It looks like it might not come off very easily.

Mask the rest of the handle as these chemicals can and likely will adversely affect the nickel plating.(12-27-2019, 04:08 PM)Razor Emporium Wrote: When I started off restoring razors in my garage I used Rust-Oleum Satin Claret Wine.
