I'll have to revisit, but I think a good substitute would be the aforementioned Gillette Silver Blues. That's probably the route I'll take. Sharp and smoother than the 7 O'clocks, also more dependable. Certainly smoother than Feathers.

+1, this is what I would suggest, also. Shy

Several years ago I became online friends with a student ; Yasha Tseliskovskaya and helped her return home to Beslan after that attack. Serendipity Yasha's BF and now husband was employed as an engineer at a certain razor blade factory. Polsilvers suffered profitability because of A. deliveries ' falling' off trucks and landing on EBAY or B.CHICOM fakes sold via Bulgarian EBAY sellers ( lovely country, rampant corruption). Polsiver production has been suspended to A. fullfill contract runs ( ie Bolzanos) and fill out medical forms for a few delivery drivers with broken legs. Hopefully, Polsilvers will reappear, possibly in yet another packaging to further confuse users as to what in the hell they have. Prudence calls for buying a few anyway. If not now, we will hopefully still be shaving in 10 years.

Just ordered 100 from Polsilver-blades.com. Hopefully this whole thing isn't true and I'll just shave on as usual. If it is I will go Gillette Silver Blue or Platinum.

I had picked up 1400 Pols a few weeks ago, after we first heard about the discontinuation. Now it will not bother me if they really do go out of production. And besides there are other fine blades to choose from. But if you love this blade, better to stock some up.

Nice, Din! Those original Iridium Supers are exceptional blades. I always seem to get 10 shaves, minimum, on each blade. I guess I might be set for two lifetimes if this continues. Happy

I ordered a 100 from the polsilverblaades.com website a week ago and still haven't got a notice that my order was placed or any shipping notification. Maybe I am too late lol. I used paypal so I guess I'll ask for a refund.
