Well, I've got straight razors to shave with unto the 7th generation if DE blades go south. I will say though that the Polsilver blades are some of the best DE blades out there. I can certainly see why one wouldn't want to run out. They strike an excellent compromise between sharp and smooth.

Although I am primarily shaving with Gem SE blades, I had to order another 100. I'm down to about 20 Polsilvers and I don't want to try to find another blade that I like as much. Although those Med Preps at Robbins Instruments have come down in price ...

These may be my favorite blade. As noted they strike a nice balance between sharp and smooth. I need to stock up.

I found that the Gillette silver blue, Gillette 7 o clock super stainless green and Astra to be more sharp and close in smoothness than the polsilver, also the polsilver lasted up to 4-5 shaves while the others up to 6 shaves. That's why I never got a 100 pack from them, just tested them out.

Glad you like your blades.

I received a notice that Veli (DCC) had refunded my $18 for the 100 Polsilvers because he is unable to ship. Apparently whatever service he uses is not accepting new shipments due to high volume. He thinks that the problem will be resolved after Christmas. I don't think Veli could have handled the situation any better, and it reinforces the confidence that I have in him.

I agree. He handled my transaction superbly and I would not hesitate to recommend someone purchasing from him. It arrived sooner than I expected as well.

I believe Maggard's has the 100 pack in stock.

Does anyone know if the Polsilver's are gone for good - or did they move to another factory?
I know stock is still available ( I've got about 500) it would be a shame if the company wasn't
bought and continued production. My favorite blade!
