The terms "mild" and "aggressive" really are open to interpretation. In general, it relates to the amount of blade exposure and the angle that the blade is presented to the skin, which translates to yes...a more aggressive razor is more likely to bite. The more aggressive a razor is, the more exposure of the blade edge you have, thus the more opportunities for bad angles or lapse of focus to cause nicks, cuts and weepers.
That's not to say a mild razor is any less EFFICIENT.
Some people make the mistake of thinking that aggression and efficiency are the same thing. They are not. There is no reason a mild razor can't be efficient. You have to compare the razors and how they work for you, because at the end of the day, it's all about getting a clean, close, and comfortable shave. The type of razor you choose to accomplish that goal is a matter of opinion...
