I was just pointing out the fact that you pay a premium price for a product and it shows up in a cheap cardboard box wrapped in packing foam with tape around it, it's kinda like, "Huh, ok". Take a look at Timeless or ATT packaging. Much more presentable at a much lower cost. So it wouldn't factor that much into the price when you're dropping $400. But it would do a lot to give you that upscale feel to go along with one if the priciest razors you can buy. Again, I realize a lot of people don't really care about such things, but some do.

To put it bluntly: the packaging is pretty crappy. Sorry. Constrained budget and all that.

There is some good news. There will be another release of 100 Ti II mid March. Bullgoose is getting 50, and I ordered 50 for direct sale! Also, the SE is on track. We are adding additional machine capacity. This will alleviate the supply bottleneck to a considerable extent.

Also, the mid March release will be in a better box with cut foam and a logo laser engraved. The money pinch is easing up a bit as well. ;-)

Thanks for the update! This kind of transparency will keep the secondary market in check. Hopefully I’ll be getting mine in the next couple of days. When you say the SE is on track do you have an estimated release month so I can budget accordingly?

Don't hold my feet to the fire, but I would guesstimate May 1? We are adding extra machining capacity.

I’ve used it twice and dare I say that it could even be milder than the 17-4, due to reduced weight, yet still very efficient.

I’m also happy to hear that things are “healthy” enough that you could do a run without outside assistance. Nice to see you making progress in the regard! Keep up the excellent work Andy!

I agree with your assessment of the razor. And thank you!

Someone who hasn’t used a Paradigm chiming in, here. I just wanted to say that the very first time I saw the original titanium Paradigm (and every time since), I am at a loss for words when it comes to how beautiful the design (shape, pattern) of that handle is. A great example of functional art.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

It is pretty - never received an arts education but reminds me of Deco movement ala Chrysler Bldg (a personal favourite)

My tracking went from preshipment last night to out for delivery this morning. Glad to see the postal service tracking system is so efficient. Hopefully I won’t get into too much trouble with my wife when three packages arrive today!

Dan, good call! That is precisely the influence, Art Deco, and specifically Chrysler Building. It's right across the East River from me. All my razors have that Art Deco feeling. Kind of a house style. It's only the two designs so far, but there is a third one coming for SE.

Lucky guess, not much of an education here unfortunately.

Going for third shave in successive days after a lunch break 15K run. Shall report on follow-up shaves tonight. Really loving this razor. Truly nothing between it and BBS1, my other favourite, except actually available at retail price.
