It is more efficient than the Lvl2 for sure and slightly less aggressive than the Lvl3 with a very similar level of efficiency.

Is Ti1 more efficient than CG Lvl3?
No but it is smoother

In my experience it is, not by much though.

Still waiting. Got word from WCS after asking if they oversold on the pre orders:

Thank you for reaching out to us. We definitely did not over sell the pre orders on our site. I believe that all of the razors are made and the manufacturer is just perfecting each razor. We were only shipped a portion of the order and wanted to get them out to our customers. We are continuously reaching out to the manufacturer to get these razors to our warehouse as soon as possible. To be honest, I am nagging them so much I feel like I have a second husband. =) We do appreciate your patience in this matter and hope that you have a wonderful week!

With the very mixed feedback on the finish of the razor I can only see the wait getting a lot longer. I'm really tempted to ask for a refund...but I've already waited this long.

My first post here on DFS.  Does anyone have an updated review on the Diamondback?  It sure seems like they screwed the pooch on this roll out.

Anyone received their shipping info this week?

Not I.  My first post on this forum, I think.  I'm curious about how many here ordered this razor and are still waiting for it to be shipped, or even for any information about when it might be shipped.  I placed my order on August 12 at 1:58 a.m. WCS time.  I know from some posts here that the razors weren't shipped out in the sequence the orders were received, because some people in this thread who placed their orders after I did have already gotten their razors.  I'd like to know how WCS determined the shipping order.

This razor had better operate itself on autopilot and deliver the best shave in the history of mankind after the repeated delays and completely unacceptable, unprofessional communication and shipping from WCS.  If WCS had stated up front that they had no idea when the razors would be ready, and that you just give them your money and wait in the dark for an indefinite period of time, it'd be different.  But multiple updates on expected ship times that have turned out to be incorrect, and no updates for the past several weeks have used up my patience.  I've written it off.  I figure since I've already paid for it, I'll wait another month or two and then just cancel the order and tell them to reverse the charge on my card.  If the razor shows up in the meantime, fine.  If not, I don't particularly want it any more.

I got one of the stainless DLC Lupo razors from RazorRock a few weeks after ordering the Paradigm.  I can say without a doubt that if I'd had the Lupo for a week or two before the Paradigm was announced, and if I'd known how this Paradigm project was going to play out, there's no way I would have plunked down 240 bucks for a razor that has become a series of broken promises.  The Lupo probably gives the best shave of any razor I've ever used considering closeness and ease of use.  I can get equally close shaves faster with an R41, but it can be hazardous.  I can get equally comfortable, safe shaves with lots of other razors, but none that I can think of will shave as close as the Lupo without a lot more work.  The steel Lupo combines closeness and comfort like no other that I've used.  I have the aluminum version too, and it's also a great shaver.  But the steel version is amazing.  That Diamondback has a tall order ahead of it to match the steel Lupo, let alone beat it.

Sorry for a first post that consists of whining on a soapbox.  But how about it boys and girls.  How many here are waiting on your Diamondback to be delivered?

Living on the edge
Bit of a bummer this negative publicity.
I wonder who's a fault here...the maker or the distributor.
The former always seems to have a stellar rep for quality.
