Paradigm releasing a new razor

I ordered a satin one and I hope that's what I get. I don't like polished razors.

Its all very confusing - to be honest - for myself there is no problem to let them made in another country - what pi*** me of is that they have the exact same razor in their line up which they sell or sold to some time. Im happy with that razor but wouldnt buy it again if I knew that before

The razor in your photos is the Paradigm Salient razor only polished or is it another razor that you are saying that the Salient is a copy of? Thanks.

Sry for not making it more clear - These pictures are the DS-OR razor - Pictures are from another forum - early May.

Would that be AliExpress DS?

This is all really sad to see. Apart from James Dufour, Andy has created the finest shaving array of razors and I wish all of them were still in production. Perhaps this is something that can be lined out and achieved in the future.

I understand what you’re saying, I’m speaking in general about how the Paradigm releases have been going the last several years.

Thinking about it this afternoon, a quick search on several different Chinese sites will show copies of many different popular razors so I don’t blame Andy for that. Paradigm has a reputation for great shaving razors so it makes sense that copies would appear.

I really doubt he can rebound from this. When you get a chance at redemption you grab it and
never let go. He has dropped the ball so badly on this one, intentional or not. To squander
trust TWICE is not a good look...I was in his corner earlier but I would never buy anything
from him now...even if he resurrects the earlier razors that made him famous.
