This run is 100, and I'm going to keep this model around.

Several members of ATG said they heard from Andy and he is not bringing back the Diamondback he is working on a new improved Javelin in Titanium which he will be selling himself so it will be a better price.

I wish he will polish Ti Javelin as good as DB 2020.

Said one thing(there would be another run of DB's) and now doing another(no more being made). I think that sums it ...........

Carbon Shaving and Timeless both offer full titanium razors, with a high-polish finish, for $300-$350... Personally, I would be disappointed if the Ti Javelin isn’t priced at less than $400.

He said it would be less than $400. Probably close to Carbon. 

Timeless sells thousands of razors. They spend time & money to design a new razor, makes prototype, etc. All of these expenses were distributed to thousands of razors. Paradigm has only hundreds. More cost per razor.   
Timeless also might have his own machine shop. That is why the price is lower.
I am not expecting to see any close to Timeless price.

Can someone explain to me how the mirror finish in the 2020 Diamondback makes it such a better shaver than the previous iteration if the geometry is exactly the same? Surely it would just a small difference in smoothness ...

I had both the 2019 and 2020, there's little difference in shave quality. If anything I found the 2019 model a little smoother!

...Timeless sells thousands of razors...

I cannot believe any artisan maker is selling "thousands" of their razors.

I got my 2019 from a guy who had it along with a 2020 and he said they shaved identically. He just preferred the mirror finish.
