First shave is in the books. I don’t like comparing razors so that won’t happen. Extremely smooth shaver that has great audible feedback and excellent efficiency.

There is not much blade feel to this razor, at least during my first shave but it’s a beauty in the hand AND on the face. So, if you like razors that are smooth, efficient and lack lots of aggressive blade feel, this one is definitely for you.

I think this is an opportune time for me to have zero RAD when it comes to DE razors, hahahaha. Nice reviews/impressions, fellas.

Wolfman Ti WR2 1.45 vs Diamondback
After a great shave last night I had to do a side by side comparison of another smooth yet efficient razor.
Soap TSC 2 Anniv Lisa’s Natural Barbershop
Blade New PolSilvers
Brush TSC 2nd anniversary synthetic
Post Lisa’ natural Barbershop Balm
1st pass WTG. The Wolfie is significantly lighter but both razors are well balanced and easy to maneuver. The Diamondback has slightly less blade feel and the Wolfie has a larger shaving angle but after a cold rinse both sides were DFS and felt identical.
2nd pass ATG. I definitely noticed more blade feel from the Wolfie, not harsh at all, just more feel than the Diamondback. Both razors felt smooth and I could appreciate the soft feeling of the Ti vs SS. Cold rinse and I was BBS in both sides.
The Diamondback stood toe to toe with the Wolfie in smoothness and efficiency and it had a little less blade feel. The shaving angle appears to be less forgiving with the Diamondback but it was easy to find and maintain. I am impressed with the Diamondback so far as it is very smooth but efficient. I need more shaves in but so far it is competing with the best in my collection. Andy’s release of this high polished razor shows Paradigm is back as a top notch competitor in the high end modern razor show.

That's great to hear! My 1.55 WR2 is my number 1 razor.

I have to concur about the shave angle. Another guy who is using the razor said the same thing. It's not super finicky, but I wouldn't describe it as having a large window. It's easy enough to dial in though. Shavemd Thanks for a thoughtful and balanced review

I could appreciate the soft feeling of the Ti, too. Hope to see Javelin Ti soon.
I really looking forward to compare Carbon "++" with Diamondback.

There is a big difference in face feel between titanium and stainless, as anybody who has shaved with titanium knows. I attribute it mainly to the difference in mass; there's no particular metallurgical property which would account for it. Titanium is pretty much the best metal for a razor, perfect mass, and very high corrosion resistance. The downside of course is expense.

Initial impressions so far:

1. Wonderful mirror polishing (see Shavemd pictures) - it is the best stainless polishing out there and comparable/similar to Wolfman

2. Blade tabs covered yet the head does not appear or feel bulky and given it's heft (114 gm) it is very well balanced so it doesn't "feel" heavy

3. Typical Paradigm handle pattern which seems to be a characteristic "trademark" despite each razor release being slightly different

4. Paradigm still not engraving any emblem or identifying info (including cheesy number) on his releases - some may argue to include a name/logo

5. Like all prior (4) releases there are a very limited run - too bad he doesn't scale to keep a regular inventory

6. Fair pricing of $240 so if it shaves as well as the reviews so far it is a bargain as other "high-end" artisan razors can cost $300+

I plan on using it with the Personna Red and report back after a few shaves but if Shavemd experience is consistent this may be a winner for all of us.
