I don't see that happening and besides those vendors will have to charge the same extra costs on top of the original price. I might just end up trading one for a Wolfman OC head that I don't use anyway once more people are in possession of the Paradigm 17-4, there are always those who don't like it as we are all different in experiencing shaving stuff (thank god for that otherwise it would be a dull world).

So it turns out the 17-4 does have standard threading but guys I have pm’d with were having trouble with other handles (Wolfman, Blackbird, Timeless). Andrew says the steel is harder (which we knew) but also that the threads are tighter than other handles.

It’s not a cheap razor and I wouldn’t want to take a chance to strip, bind, or force another handle resulting in trouble.

If anyone’s on the fence about the handle (which appears to be the case by guys just looking at the picture and length) don’t be. It’s a perfect combination of feel and is balanced as well as any high end razor made today.

Sure, it’s not finished as well as a Wolfman but in my experience shaves much better.

I am using one of my Triad handles and it threaded on just fine.

That’s interesting. I’ve corresponded with three guys who’s handles did not fit. I’ll try my Wolfman handle when back in Boston. Up in Vermont this week.

I just put a titanium Stork handle on my Paradigm and it was definitely resisting a bit. The Stork is on and I had a great shave, really don’t think any damage was done either.

I really liked the Paradigm Titanium Razor (Andrew's first offering). I got to use one, in a pass-around, for a little over a week.
It reminded me a lot of the Above The Tie razor. Between the R-1 and H-1 in aggressiveness, but of a lighter weight.
If I could have afforded it, I would have bought one. I'm disappointed that he will not be making more of them.

I like a razor with blade feel and audio feedback, so I'm not sure how I would like the 17-4 SS.
I think I'd have to try one first. I probably wouldn't buy one cold.

It's great to hear that a Triad handle fit well but did the handle change the balance of the razor at all? Also has anyone tried a Stork handle?
