And can paradigm's performance be somehow compared to artist club type razors, like alumigoose?
thanks in advance.

I had to check the BST Archives on the forum. I sold one on October 19, having bought two, and gifted the Ti Bronze I tested to a nephew. The 17-4 shares a common smoothness found in the Bronze. The Bronze, from what I remember, was a nice smooth shaver just too mild. The 17-4 combines that smoothness with the efficiency of almost anything out there. I have used it exclusively since getting it and it has surpassed my Blackbird in comfort and performance.

From a smoothness factor the Bronze and Paradigm are very close but from efficient shave the Paradigm is a 9 and the Bronze is a 5 - 6 at best IMMO I had the Alumigoose and sold it as I prefer the SS Mongoose but from what I can recall the Paradigm is smoother with just a slight decrease in efficiency and that might be splitting hairs. Compare it to a Cobra Classic or Rx and the Paradigm is on the other end of the spectrum ( little to no blade feel) the efficiency is definitely not quite as good, but I can shave daily with the Paradigm I cannot with the Cobra or Rx without paying for it on day 3 or 4. Hope this helps

Not much of a choice!

We all want a close shave provided with a smooth, comfortable instrument. The 17-4 is the perfect tool for that.
The Bronze is great looking but just too mild and I find the Timeless heads bulky...too big.

The Cobra Classic was all the rage back in 2010-12 if my mind doesn't fail me. No fun at all to me. Far too aggressive for daily shaves.
Why suffer with the Cobra or struggle with the Bronze when there are much better options available now.

Check out his blog posts on the razor and info on 17-4 steel.
Pretty interesting read!

Im still getting fantastic shaves and loving my new Paradigm razor. I did swap out the stock handle today with a longer and fatter Triad handle as the stock handle is just too small for me. Keep in mind that I am larger than your average human at 6’5 and 240lbs, but I really hope that Paradigm offers a larger handle or a head only option on their future offerings.

This razor is really making me think about selling off most of my other razors!

That's not so bad, I would have to pay another $120 CDN on top of that to import one Undecided

I empathize with you, Ron. Hopefully, a vendor in Europe will be able to stock these in the future. Shy
