I have been collecting fragrances since I was 13 years old (my big brother said it attracted the ladies, so I started early on
)
Soon found out, that I enjoyed the fragrances perhaps even more so than the girls in my class, and when I was 16 years old had a collection of 50-60 full bottles of fragrances.
Then on and off, have been into fragrances ever since that.
At one stage I had almost 800 full bottles in my collection (200 niche, rest designers) and 500+ samples.
I have since that promised my girlfriend, that I will stop once my huge 5 drawer cabinet is full.
Unfortunately I have a carzy tendency to buy the larger bottles of jice, because I save in the long run - but since I will not run out of fragrances for the next 25 years anyway, it's just stupid to buy these 200 ml designer bottles and the 120 ml Creed bottles, but I can't help it.
From now on I will really try hard to only buy 50 ml bottles, for the obvious reason, that I don't need more. I use a new fragrance each day 365 days of the year and still can't even rotate them all
If I use 1-2 ml a day, a 50 ml bottle will last me 40-50 years, I'm dead by then, or close to dead
Yet I still continue to buy 100 ml and 200 ml bottles
But NOW I will stop, because I have found out, that if I buy 50 ml bottles instead, I can press more bottles and fragrance into my 5 way drawer, that now is 95% full of bottles (approx have 450-500 full bottles now in the drawer)
Other than fragrances I'm also into colleceting clothing and have a rather large collection.
I actually find, that fragrances is connected closely to my male grooming ritual, which consists of pre shave routine, shaving, after shaving routine ended with applying my fragrance du jour.
