Opinions on Razorock SS Hawk?

I see on the IB store that the razor has been sold out but no reviews at all. Anybody who has the razor and use it, would you mind sharing your opinion and some pics too, thanks.

Refer to post 218 in the other Hawk thread. I have the DLC version and the satin version of the SS Hawk. Love them both.

thanks that's a nice write up on the razor, although I did spoke to Joe and he said the SS version has no coating at all, its raw SS glass blasted as you mentioned in your review but there is no coating on it.

The first batch was DLC coated, then there were 2 more batches in Satin silver. I have both. I think I like the matte grey DLC a little better.

Do you mind when you get a chance take few pics of both side by side, do you prefer the DLC looks wise or performance wise? I personally have never wanted to buy DLC SS razor and then deal with the coating degrading. I guess when the new batch comes in it will work best for me because it will be raw SS

Thanks dude, that is fine looking razor. They both look good in DLC or just raw sand blasted SS. Hopefully he stacks soon some more of them so I can finally try razor with artist style type of blades
