I only use it on my neck and face after shaving, like, say, an Omega alum stick or an Osma alum block.

Color me stupid, I must have not read that thread with my comprehension cap on. That's what I get for skim reading. No problem, I'll see how it works as I've been hunting one for this purpose. I corrected my post John Rose Happy2
I use a similar product but different brand as a deodorant - I've been using it daily for over 3 years.  Works great.  No smell and I mean not only no BO smell but no product smell that might interfere with your aftershave or cologne

I've been using one as a deodorant for at least 15-20 years and agree with Marko.  Also, I was developing allergic skin reactions to most over-the-counter mainstream deodorants and have never had trouble with this.  Just remember that it is a deodorant and not an antiperspirant so it is not meant to prevent sweating, just odor control.

That/those look better than mine, as far as surface texture goes. Where did it/they come from?

A little narrower than I like but workable 4.25 inches across the top. I like the smooth bottom compared to my Turkish bowl that has a lip in the bottom. Got 2, if ya have more than 1 I'd swap ya 1 to have variety but here they are.

I can't show any pix because UPS delivered it to the wrong address.
I phoned UPS, they sorted it out. I initially was told (by online tracking) that they delivered it to a different city, 170 km north of here.
They attributed it to the "fat-fingered driver - a different guy than usual". It was the right town after all, but the wrong house, and it was on our porch shortly after supper the same day.
All is forgiven.

You would think that I like "Amici". You would be right.
Tonight I used the "Irish Countryside" soap and splash, and put the SLOC head on a RR Barber Pole SS handle that I already had.

Ooh!  Shy
The head looks like the ones on Edwin Jagger & Mühle razors.
If so, it should give a nice shave.

Well as I said elsewhere,y wife used my Henson razor and kicked her Lady Gillette Super Speed to the curb.

She requested the Medium in blue. She's already sent me a pic after it arrived today while I'm at work. She paired it with a WCS brush she intercepted from my mail awhile back and said it's gorgeous. Guess I can get mine back now....... hopefully

A stunning handle from Andrew @VikingSoaps. I paired it with a 26mm Odin’s Beard V4 knot from Viking Soaps as well.
