Thank to my friend Bat71, I can test these two beauties:

Some Soap Commander (True Rose) shaving soap from a very generous fellow wet shaver.

1st a couple lather bowls that feel a little small but we'll see tomorrow. Stainless Steel with a copper finish on the outside.




2nd is my Dragonsbeard Brush and Stand and a sample of Dragonsbeard V2 which is on deck for tomorrow, The color on this handle stock is beautiful but to dark to really pic up as well in the pictures as it looks in person. The knot seems a little small to me but I'll give it a go tomorrow. It may be just fine but I can always put another knot in it if need be. The handle will be staying for sure. A deodorant to try on John Rose recommendation

Just to be perfectly clear, I have no clue if it's any good as a deodorant.
I only use it on my neck and face after shaving, like, say, an Omega alum stick or an Osma alum block.

Color me stupid, I must have not read that thread with my comprehension cap on. That's what I get for skim reading. No problem, I'll see how it works as I've been hunting one for this purpose. I corrected my post John Rose

I use a similar product but different brand as a deodorant - I've been using it daily for over 3 years.  Works great.  No smell and I mean not only no BO smell but no product smell that might interfere with your aftershave or cologne
