For me, I would say it's quite close to the standard gap, there are differences in head design. It is definitely more similar to the standard than the .74 gap.

Does the Guerilla have the same rigid blade clamping and rigid blade feel of the WR1? The pics of the head geometry lead me to believe so but I don't want to make assumptions as there are differences as well in the head design.

They clamp very similarly and I believe that's why they feel pretty closely in the smoothness department

First shave this morning was spectacular. The Guerrilla head is very similar to a Charcoalgoods level 2 head. This is a good thing. The handle posed no problem with grip.

A little over two weeks - I sent an email to James on May 8 and just received a message from him asking to confirm if I am still interested.

If anyone wants a stand for the Guerilla the Turtleship shave co. stand fits it like a glove.

Has anyone thought of hand polishing it? Will that be possible? I have sand paper ranging from 800 to 3000.

I received mine yesterday

I know some have done this with their machined finish Blackbirds, so I imagine it would be possible with the Guerrilla, too. That being said, I think that the standard (brushed) finish on the Guerrilla is beautiful, and is still a better finish than what I see on most other razors out there.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

I'm going to keep it brush finished because the safety bar has little grooves in it.

I hope someone can post a picture of their polished guerrilla

Random question but since the handle is hollow will water make it all the way into the handle when the razor head is loosened either partially or fully to rinse it?
