So, even if it is "nice", or beyond nice... even if it were the closest, smoothest shaver ever made in the history of the world, you would still bad mouth it, huh?

ATT razors are heirloom quality and for a handle and head at half the cost of this razor, I can use any blade I want. Since blades are the biggest YMMV in the DE world, limiting me to even five blades that work in a 300 razor is insane. That's like buying a car and giving me a handful of places I can change the oil.
The highest performing cars only take synthetic oil and premium gasoline... so by your logic, the best cars sound like rebuilt Pinto's out of the junk yard. If you like cheap, rebuilt junk that you have to constantly maintain and refit, I can understand why you might hold this view.
Since you reference the DE world, you might be surprised to learn this is an SE razor. There is actually a difference between the two. And yes, there is less of a selection with SE blades as compared to DE blades... Apples to oranges...
You have to keep in mind, this is a precision instrument. The entire razor head was designed completely around this particular blade. It was not designed to retrofit a hodgepodge of blades with varying quality... Any other dime a dozen razor can do this. A jack of all blades, but master of none. No, this razor was designed and perfected around one blade. This is a unique attribute that very few razors can boast of. No other modern razor is 100% designed and engineered around one single type blade, and this is engineering with the entire tool in mind, tested only with the perfect shave in mind, consistently.

What does he offer that one blade can't? Two things, I can custom make my razor from blade gap to handle knurling, it's mine, it's one of a kind, and oh yeah, more than a handful of blades will work in it.
Your line of argument here is like comparing Apple to Android. One has a ton of customization, another does not. One is clearly higher end in all cases, the other is hit and miss. One gets hacked and has viruses, the other is secure and 'just works'. Some people like a perfect shave out of the box that will last for lifetimes, others like to tinker, and never get it quite right.

So, you admit, a pivot can actually work? I know I can admit as much... Well, if you enjoy five passes along your jaw line, who am I to argue. I personally enjoy smooth, BBS around my jaw with 1-2 passes in this area. But if you like tearing your face up, God bless you.

For, a guy who traps badgers and the limit is two per year....in a six week window.... There is a reason the finest badger hair brushes cost what they do and synthetics are cheap as dirt.
Just about all badger hair comes out of China... so are you referring to the Chinese trapping laws? Didn't know there was any... must be some rich trappers out east, huh?

I still can't believe people who have never tried a product, constantly talk about and bad mouth it like they have.
There are many products I haven't tried, and may never try. But you won't ever catch me trying to review or badmouth something I've never tried, or am completely ignorant about. What would that say about me if I did?
What I do know is, I own this razor.... and it does give me the smoothest, safest, closest shave I've ever had in my life. And I'm not the only one. Look over the different forums and videos, including here. Almost every owner of this razor that has reviewed it says it is one of the best razors they have ever owned. (The ONLY complaint I've heard, from may be 2 out of dozens, is that it is too mild for them... but still more aggressive than the nearly $300, [when it was first released, and more $ customized, and still without a guarantee or stainless steel stand] Feather AS-D2.) Even Mantic59 (Sharpologist), arguably the guy that spearheaded the wet shaving revival, says OneBlade is probably the best razor he's ever owned.
If you want reviews, gentlemen, listen to those who own it. We are pretty unanimous in our praise. But what's the point of listening to people who have nothing better to do with their time than to troll and bash products they've never used? It's not like any useful information about the product is actually coming from them... cause they wouldn't know anyway. It's the same with the guy who owns the pinto, constantly tinkering with it, who will never be able to own a Mercedes, yet constantly yammers on and on about on what a bad car the Mercedes is, or why they would never own one or want one.
For those considering this razor... Some people may be too cheap, or jealous, or prejudiced about this razor to have an open mind... they can be ignored, as they are only muddying the water about something they know less about than you do (because at least you have an open mind about experiencing something different), but for those that want quality above all else, that will give you a close, smooth, irritation free shave every time, that is built to last for lifetimes, and that you don't have to constantly retrofit and fuddle with and "just works"... trust me, you've found your home. If you doubt me, that's good, you should... but look around closely, and read only from people that own this razor. Guess what, they aren't disappointed, to the annoyance of the trolls, and neither will you be!
Happy shaves, for lifetimes!
