And I must confess, as I was scrolling through your pics, my eyes lingered on the Snake Bite lol

I have a ton of respect for the vendors and artisans on DFS and many others that aren't on the forum as well. I have had nothing but positive experiences with all of the people I have dealt with. I don't think I've had such great service and high level of interaction anywhere as I've had in the wet shaving community. I hope it never changes.
Thanks,
Mark

What you did was to make them aware of a really great option, one they probably did not know even existed. That real world connection is so important. Just curious but do you ever sell at other craft fairs, such as at local universities or Christmas fairs? With your approach, it is certain you would be a big hit. What you put in post #10 says volumes. Not only do you sell wetshaving products, you also inform and educate your clientele, and also guide them to what would be best for an initial purchase. Very well done! IMHO, giving customers a printout of shaving and gear tips is a nice touch.
1. A respectable number of current wetshavers (I didn't realize exactly how many there were!)
2. Modern cartridge and foam shavers
3. "Shave Club" members
4. and of course, holiday shopping wives and daughters
What I was most impressed with was the amount of time that #s 2 and 3 spent talking to us, and ultimately, purchasing complete setups (razor, blades, brush, bowl, soap and aftershave)
