Shawn, you have to get some Snakebite, its a great aftershave and it has a bite but the label alone is worth the price of the bottle.

Hi DavidJames, that sounds really good, I apologize if my previous post came off sounding like I was pointing a finger at you but that wasn't my intent, I was speaking generally. I have a ton of respect for the vendors and artisans on DFS and many others that aren't on the forum as well. I have had nothing but positive experiences with all of the people I have dealt with. I don't think I've had such great service and high level of interaction anywhere as I've had in the wet shaving community. I hope it never changes.
Thanks,
Mark

I do have some and I love it! Water, alcohol and menthol, all you need Wink And yes, that label is awesome!

Have you tried Captain's Choice Cat O'Nine Tails? It'll give you a nice burn if you're in to that.  Some days I just want to feel the burn of a strong alcohol based aftershave, other days a cooling balm is just the ticket.  The Cat also has that great bay rum smell that I love.Smile

1. A respectable number of current wetshavers (I didn't realize exactly how many there were!)
2. Modern cartridge and foam shavers
3. "Shave Club" members
4. and of course, holiday shopping wives and daughters Smile

What I was most impressed with was the amount of time that #s 2 and 3 spent talking to us, and ultimately, purchasing complete setups (razor, blades, brush, bowl, soap and aftershave)
That #s 2 and 3 were keenly interested is no surprise.  What you did was to make them aware of a really great option, one they probably did not know even existed.  That real world connection is so important.  Just curious but do you ever sell at other craft fairs, such as at local universities or Christmas fairs?  With your approach, it is certain you would be a big hit.  What you put in post #10 says volumes.  Not only do you sell wetshaving products, you also inform and educate your clientele, and also guide them to what would be best for an initial purchase.  Very well done!  IMHO, giving customers a printout of shaving and gear tips is a nice touch.

Anyways, congratulations on your success, and your happy customers. Smile  Thanks to you, there are plenty of folks for whom shaving will forever more be a pleasure rather than a chore.  Now there is a great Christmas present!
