1. A respectable number of current wetshavers (I didn't realize exactly how many there were!)
2. Modern cartridge and foam shavers
3. "Shave Club" members
4. and of course, holiday shopping wives and daughters Smile

What I was most impressed with was the amount of time that #s 2 and 3 spent talking to us, and ultimately, purchasing complete setups (razor, blades, brush, bowl, soap and aftershave)
That #s 2 and 3 were keenly interested is no surprise.  What you did was to make them aware of a really great option, one they probably did not know even existed.  That real world connection is so important.  Just curious but do you ever sell at other craft fairs, such as at local universities or Christmas fairs?  With your approach, it is certain you would be a big hit.  What you put in post #10 says volumes.  Not only do you sell wetshaving products, you also inform and educate your clientele, and also guide them to what would be best for an initial purchase.  Very well done!  IMHO, giving customers a printout of shaving and gear tips is a nice touch.

Anyways, congratulations on your success, and your happy customers. Smile  Thanks to you, there are plenty of folks for whom shaving will forever more be a pleasure rather than a chore.  Now there is a great Christmas present!

Tbone, Thank you so much for the kind and encouraging words! It is so great helping people out and turning them on to something that will benefit them as well as give them a but of fun! It makes us happy to be able to do so!

Also, yes, we are lining up events for 2016 with the various towns in our area. We have our vendor tent, tables, displays, etc all redy to go and take it on the road! Smile We will introduce as many people to the world of traditional wetshaving as we possibly can! Smile

Thanks again!!!

Well, another local event in the books! This time we participated in a local vendor show whose entry fee went to support a local JROTC battalion. The 2016 Wake Forest High School JROTC Battalion Bazaar was a big success for both us and the cadets. There were over 120 vendors...and we were the only vendor of our type!

We met alot of new customers and once again, had a chance to place traditional shaving gear into the hands of new wet shaving converts! We also had quite an impressive number of returning customers from our first vendor event last November! We have also been invited to participate in quite a few upcoming vendor events, the next one being in April. So we are indeed spreading the word!

Also, this being a JROTC event, we gave all the JROTC Cadets the military discount that we now permanently provide all US Veterans and US Active Duty Military members! (The cadets and their parents, as well as their squad leader were very happy!)

So, not to bog down the post, here are just  a few shots of our booth from the event. Smile

Looking good David and happy that you had a great show! The display looks fantastic with a wide offering and I am not sure if I have mentioned [recently] that I appreciate what you do for both active and former service men and women. Well done!

Thanks for the kind words kwsher! I truly enjoy getting out there and talking to the public, introducing new folks to traditional shaving and as a Veteran myself, appreciate your respect for our current military members and veterans!
