I’d been on the fence, due to anniversary/birthday/Xmas season. And I was waiting to see what new stuff was coming. Welp. Level 5 ordered about 20 minutes ago.

Looking forward to it’s return in a few years.

Damn!  This has been a great razor and given the innovation, it’s a tough situation for you Shane.
Anyone who doesn’t own an Era, now is your chance.
If you choose the right plate option(s) the Era can easily be as good of a daily driver as any other.
I too hope that Shane can bring the Era back someday…or even a new model.

Blackland Razors  Sorry for you about the ERA situation bud.

Man, it's a shame to hear about the Era having to be discontinued. It's one of the razors I've been more interested in with the recent influx of new razors I have gotten. I'm in to complete my solid bar set and a stand.

Hmm, dart 2.0 could fill the new hole in the blackland lineup.

Just ordered a 4SB lol

I gave a consideration to more OC but don't think I want to chase that route. I only have the Lvl 5 and was testing it before I ordered and it feels a bit rough compared to using the Lvl 5 SB. To be fair I'm not a huge fan of most open combs as it is.

Sorry Shane, though it's good to see your positive attitude on it all... Learn and move on if the rug gets pulled out underneath you.
I just hit Send on the level 1 and 2 for the SB, to complete the SB set (already had 3-5).
Good luck on the liquidation. It's an excellent platform by any standard.
