I'm with Dayman ... A full SS can get heavy for me. The hollow handle is very nice and refreshing. Since it's steel, we know it'll still be plenty strong, even this way. Fatip did it for decades(?) With their original coated brass handles.

The slim head and semi-hollow handle keeps the weight reasonable. We also have part densities at about 99% of billet. MIM (like the Rockwell) is typically around 95% so the Era is almost exactly as strong as a machined razor.

That is awesome!  That data alone should quiet the skeptics.
