As a head shaver who waits way too long between shaves, you had me at “impossible to clog”, haha. Also really hoping the max gap is the most efficient razor you’ve made to date.

The statement that seems more marketing oriented to me is, “using the most sophisticated tech in existence.”

Shane,
I love your innovation.
Im certain that getting the tolerances right and experimenting with shapes, threads and metallurgy is a design/production nightmare.
You must have 50 pre-production messes.
Seems that everything you prepped us for is more than amazing.
Very impressive design, my friend.

I have no need for another razor. Ill still be picking this up to support the pricing, and USA manufacturing.

As usual Shane, you are an innovation genius. I will probably pick up the most efficient plates. How long is the handle for this one. Looks pretty short. Congrats on this one! Sounds pretty cool!

Very sleek, innovative, and downright cool. This will be a hit and I am sure it is the future of manufacturing. Well done Shane!

I'll obviously be buying one, I'll have to see how the different plates equate to known razors. I'm guessing 3-4 will be my choice. I sort of wish that it was natural steel, but if the finish can never wear, it should be fine. Very interested in how it shaves.

Wow...we have 2 winners!
Do you guys work for Shane, or have a really good crystal ball?

I guessed it without seeing any info or email from him. I was watching 3d metal printed bike frames, yesterday. Many metals, 17-4 Steel, Titanium or Carbon.

As I posted in the announcement thread, I'm shocked. Era is a great name for a new 'Era' of innovation and production.

Like others stated, I don't need a new razor. I will, however, be in line to buy one at release. Hopefully Multiple plates will be an option at checkout.

This thread brings up a question / concern... Will there be ample supply come release? I'm dreading a Wolfy type list. Prayers said, fingers crossed, rabbits foot in hand.

In that case, it was a great guess.

This pretty much mirrors my thoughts
