Aggravated DocSurg, he's another one Billy Preston did with Eric Clapton a while back:

You should check out "Badlands: A tribute to Bruce Springsteen's Nebraska" for some great takes on the songs by other artists. Ben Harper nails "My Father's House" and it has Aimee Mann & Johnny Cash too, so you can't go wrong.
It gets regular rotation on my Turntable.

Go D/L or buy it and thank me later.
For everyone else, if you listen to the lyrics and this song doesn't move you, something is wrong.

Last night we were listening to the latest from Sturgill Simpson, Lumineers and The Wild Feathers...
Simpson's cover of Nirvana's In Bloom is particularly tasty IMHO.
Can't go wrong with the Lumineers.
Their latest Cleopatra just hit and on first listen- solid if you're a fan!
Marko I am all over the map musically but during my "formative" years was into punk or whatever you want to label the genre by decade. One of my greatest concerts was the Ramones- a friend of mine's brother was their sound guy and we got to hang backstage during the show and then on their tour bus after. Joey drank Yoohoo the entire time. So very cool and of course a fantastic show.

It is a feeding frenzy now with titles up on eBay before the event and people flipping them as soon as they get home.
Every day is RSD for me.

I'm a fan of The Sonics as well as a huge PJ fan....but not Sonics in their 70s.
And a quick look shows the title all over eBay. Vinyl fans are not buying these at the store, people are scooping them up to sell. It's even more frustrating to me then people flipping new, hard to acquire razors.
