I found the scent of Bad Mor (Bay Rum) extremely weak and the lather irritated/burned my face. Otherwise, the performance was really quite good.

Still using the trial pack. The stuff lathered quite well for a 4 pass shave. No irritation. The soap just kept going and going....I could of probably got 2 more passes with the brush. It made THAT much lather.

I tried to resist, but I couldn't...two full pucks ordered. Ourobouros and Mandate from Heaven. And a sample of Claddagh (although I expect not to like it since I generally don't like Creed scents).

I climbed on board, and I'm glad I did.  General forum feedback, a couple of Ruds' videos, and Murphy and McNeil's charitable work all made it easy.  Claddagh, Bad Mor, Mandate from Heaven, and Ourobouros showed up late Friday.  I decided yesterday (Saturday) to test lather Claddagh, the Éisteacht tallow & duck base soap.  It was very impressive.

So today, I took Claddagh for a spin and got a nice, gentle BBS shave.  I'll know better in a week or so about the post, but it seems fine for now.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I received my tub of Claddagh and used it for the first time this morning.  Let me first say the scent is very nice (I'm terrible about scent descriptions) but lite off the puck.  I scooped a bit more than an almond and began to bowl lather. Lots of beautiful white suds were generated.  The scent was still very light.  The lather is lighter than I'm used to but very effective.  Excellent slickness and residual slickness.  The post shave is very nice and the scent dances with your nose for a few hours.

In the end, I'm very glad I gave M&M a try!  My only wish is that the scent was a bit stronger. Has anyone tried the aftershave, splash or balm?  I will most likely give it a try.  I find it unique how M&M gives options on how the splash will come (alcohol free, AF + menthol (0.5 and 1 in strength) and again the same options with alcohol,

In summary, a very nice product, packaging was professional, performance was excellent!  Would like a bit more UMPH in the scent dept.  Looking forward to my next M&M purchase.

Also worth mentioning, these soaps are 5.5 oz not 4 oz!

Constructive criticism: I purchased a tub of Crann Bethadh Shaving Soap. The performance is great but I wish they had stated in the description, that the scent was a clone of Green Irish Tweed. I don’t care for GIT and wouldn’t have purchased it had I known it was a clone.

I also purchased a sample of every one of their other scents and have now tried them all. They have nailed the performance with their soap base. Going forward, I would like to see M&M be more original in the creation of scents and get away from Creed and Drakar Noir clones. Additionally, please make the scents stronger.

Well, we’re all different. IMO originality can be overrated at times. I prefer to know what I’m buying, and a GIT (or Adventus ) clone is fine for me.

My point is that I didn’t know it was a clone until I received it. The fact it is a clone isn’t stated in the scent description.

I just shaved this morning with a sample of Kells. Be careful it is soft and easy to overload your brush. I added what seemed like a ton of water and it produced a thick, slick and cushiony lather with a very glossy sheen to it. The lather has very stiff peaks like meringue. You will know you have added enough water when you get a nice sheen. The shave produced a BBS with no weepers or irritation. Post shave is very comfortable also. I will order a full pick of Kells.
