I really don't think you will be disappointed. For my money it makes Simpson Chubbies up to the best Manchurian grades obsolete. There really is no difference for me when it comes to the Simpson  Best and Super variety of Chubby 2 and 3 brushes except they will cost 4 or 5 times more. Enjoy.

Sounds good. I really wish they had stock of the horn color in the fan shape. But if this works out I'll just have something to look forward to.

I waited for the same reason but eventually gave in and just ordered the black fan. They have the bulb back in stock in faux horn.

Just wanted to share a quick family portrait of my LS/MS brushes.

That's what I got, great backbone and super soft tips. I had a Frank Shaving 30mm Silvertip Chubby style brush a few years ago , unfortunately it was a shedder but I felt the Silvertip knot being so dense it seemed to flatten out and didn't retain much shape. This Finest with the impressive backbone is keeping its shape well and isn't a shedder at all so far.

Can anyone comment on the 24mm Fan? I have read some comments on it being less consistent in hair quality than the 30mm. Has anyone bought one recently?

Buy the knot.

I bought the 24mm two band knot. It isn't the cheapest. It is fantastic.

I'm going to buy another 24 and a 26 when I get the money. They're great.

I'm excited. Looks like the brush is here in my city now. It's been a little over two weeks since I ordered.

Just arrived. Hard to tell much about it without cleaning it up. That's tonight's task. But first impression is that this seems a little smaller than a 30mm size would suggest. I don't think that is a bad thing for me personally, as I'm a little more familiar with the size of a Chubby 2.
