I'm just going by the text which claims identical geometry if not aesthetics and obviously posts rather than slots. I agree the resemblance is not obvious.

I wish the geometry weren't identical to the New LC of which I have two perfectly good ones already. Perfectly happy with brass so it would be a lot more compelling with tweaked geometry.

the original New LC has a slotted blade holder and clearly this one doesn't. The handle looks similar.

The reference was to geometry which in theory could still be identical. Fine doesn't claim the razor is a replica which it obviously isn't.

Even the combs look quite a bit different to me. Too bad they don't provide more than one view.

Yes they are. Nobody said it was a replica. It's a good looking razor. It's the opposite of what Charcoal did with the model 1 series.

So, is there anything new & novel here or is this just another SS razor amongst a veritable myriad of others in a market glutted to the gills as such? Will it do anything better other than cause uncontrolled knee trembling and pearl clutching for OCD buyers?   Dodgy

I guess for folks averse to using vintage razors it might be appealing if priced right.

I like this hybrid.
Not a replica, but a mix of other ideas:
• Wolfman head
• Muehle bar
• Gillette handle

A visual input ...

The email I got said that it is based on a $500 razor... So definitely any Gillette. Rather, Wolfman.

Good way to sell razors for any price less than that. Worked for razorock.
