I like the look of the head--very interesting. I'm tempted to try it. But I agree the pricing isn't very competitive. When RazoRock can sell a Canadian-made stainless razor for under $75, you'd think that Fine could sell a Chinese made one for even cheaper.

I'm not opposed to a Chinese made razor on principle alone, but the price needs to make up for that fact.

Those 'teats' are usually called bullets in razor design, just FYI, and I, for one, think they look good.
My only concern is that, generally speaking, razor designs that use bullets have a fair bit of blade play and thus the potential for blade misalignment, which means that every time you load a blade you have to keep checking to make sure it is loaded straight, which isn't particularly difficult, but is somewhat annoying. There is a reason why the bullet design disappeared over time.

Finishing is important . The polish on my Chinese $135 Alpha Outlaw is as good as my Wolfman. I got no complaints on pricing. That's the mark for me .

Has anyone confirmed the price of $165? This page of the website shows the price as $25 to $100.

As of today, they have the $165 price listed on the product page:

I’ve only seen the picture slantman first posted in this thread, and then the picture of the product page, as posted by vadim. The finish looks very shiny in the first picture, and more muted, or “brushed,” in the second. I prefer the second one. It’ll be interesting to see more pictures as they are released.

Also, based on looks alone, I would’ve thought that’s a 105–110 g razor. 96 grams is a positive surprise in my view.
Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

Per email 100 razors will be for sale July 23 (website only). The ad on the Mr Fine website has been removed so not sure what the price will be. Comparing razor to the 1930s Gillette New long comb. 316 CNC finished.

I wish the geometry weren't identical to the New LC of which I have two perfectly good ones already. Perfectly happy with brass so it would be a lot more compelling with tweaked geometry.

From the photo it is clearly not identical to the New LC. It is clearly inspired by it. Without more photos it is hard to say exactly how it differs.
